Serdar Ilhan

Serdar Ilhan is the CEO of Drom, which he founded in 2007 and Also CEO of Serdar Ilhan Presents Inc

Drom hosts over 500 shows a year and work with cultural offices including Spain, Romania, Hungary, France, Poland, Portugal, and Israel.
Before Drom, he ran successful establishments like St. Marx Café, and Maia Meyhane hosting many memorable nights of music, food, and culture. He put together the world-class ensemble NY Gypsy All-Stars and managed them for ten years.

Ilhan is also one of the producers of the annual New York Gypsy Festival (now in its 15th year) and the Istanbulive concert series, which ran for seven seasons in collaboration with Central Park SummerStage, Lincoln Center, and SXSW. Ilhan has presented Turkish, Mediterranean, and World music at prestigious places like Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, Symphony Space, Florence Gould Hall in the past 25 years and continues to promote and produce tours in the US and Canada with bands from overseas.

In 2011 he co-curated the International Antalya Jazz Festival at the historic Aspendos Theater, one of the world’s best-preserved ancient theaters in the Mediterranean.

An award-winning Art Director Serdar Ilhan moved to the US from his native Istanbul in 1989 with an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design and a graduate degree in Photography.
